what is communication?

communication means convey a message from one place to another. communication has a great role in internet. 

communication in a computer:

the transfer of information, from one location to another location.is called communications. 

there are certain strategies to convey a message from source to destination. for example i want to sent a message from one location to another location.it means communication is also possible according to some rules and regulations. 

BASIC ELEMENTS OF data communications:

1#Message: the message is the data or information about a particular things or equipment's.

2# sender: sender is the device that send a message. it is also called a transmitter. the sender can be a computer, fax machine or mobile phones.

3#Receiver: receiver is the device that receive a message.it is also called sink. the receiver can be a computer ,  printer .

4# Transmission Medium: a transmission medium is a path through which a message can be transfer. the transmission medium is physical cable or wireless connections.

5# Protocols: a protocol is a set of rules and regulations that perform data communications.

in every day life communication has a great role. without communication the life is not possible. we can convey our ideas from one person to another person without sound by using some pointing and through signals. radio waves, and  through wire.
